Guidelines for Thesis Track of Master Program

Type Contents
Course Credits Foundation 9 credits, Major 15 credits, Thesis Research 2 credits. Totally 24 credits + 2 credits are required.
* Those who are eligible for the supplementary course must complete it.
CGPA Equal to or greater than 3.0 (i.e., CGPA >= 3.0)
Qualification Exam 2 subjects (i.e., 1 Foundation and 1 Major subject)
Research  1. Publishing 1 research paper in equal to or higher than KCI level journals or Food & Business Research (FBR) as the 1st author.
 2. Participation in conferences 2 times with at least 1 time research paper presentation
 3. TOPIK >= 4 or IELTS >= 5.5

  •  Condition for Thesis Oral Proposal Submission: Fulfilling the No. 2 requirement above.
  •  Condition for Thesis Final Oral Defense: Fulfilling all requirements above.

 Process: Submitting all the proof documents 7 days before your thesis oral proposal or final defense time.
 Passing condition: Half of your thesis defence committee members shall agree for the proposal and the oral defense in order to pass them.
Editing Regulations APA (The American Psychological Association)
Committee Members To be composed of Ph.D. holders in the field with at least 2 internal faculty members.
All procedures must always be discussed with your supervisor.

 



Guidelines for Non-Thesis Track of Master Program

Type Contents
Course Credits Foundation 9 credits, Major 15 credits, and Additional 6 credits. Totally 24 + 6 = 30 credits are required.
* Those who are eligible for the supplementary course must complete it.
CGPA Equal to or greater than 3.0 (i.e., CGPA >= 3.0)
Qualification Exam 2 subjects (i.e., 1 Foundation and 1 Major subject)
Research  1. Participation in conferences 2 times with at least 1 time presentation
 2. TOPIK >= 4 or IELTS >= 5.5
All procedures must always be discussed with your supervisor.




Guidelines for PhD Program

Type Contents
Course Credits Foundation 12 credits, Major 24 credits, Thesis Research 2 credits. Totally 36 credits + 2 credits are required.
* Those who are eligible for the supplementary course must complete it.
CGPA Equal to or greater than 3.0 (i.e., CGPA >= 3.0)
Qualification Exam 3 subjects (i.e., 1 Foundation and 2 Major subjects)
Research  1. Publishing 3 research papers in equal to or higher than SCOPUS level journals as the 1st author.
      (*Depending on the situation, papers in KCI level or Food and Business Research may also be recognized under the guidance of an advisor.)

 2. Participation in conferences 2 times with at least 1 time research paper presentation
 3. TOPIK >= 4 or IELTS >= 5.5
